Hey Viet...go with the CT27...the ct20b is good for fast spooling but won't make much over 300. The CT27 won't make much more than three hundred but it'll do it on lower boost and won't have a breakable ceramic turbine.
If you want 350 hp...you'll wanna go GT28 or GT30... |

Yep. He is very cool. Just send him an email with what you are looking for. Don't forget to include your current mod list.
Dorman and the rest of us will probably plan a big end of summer meet. Davis mentioned a go-kart meet. Its an idea we've been going back and forth on for awhile. Problem is getting a confirmed amount of people in so we can rent out the whole track and get a group rate. We'll keep everyone updated. |

That was the first world record attempt and was in the UK, damn that was so long ago. I remember being on the UK boards keeping up with what was going on.

well not sure i kinda low on cash. but i have 2000 on me and i been working my ass off so i think i deserve something lol but lets see i would like to upgrade the turbo and injectors for now and start working on the looks i guess. but the mod i have is greddy intercooler, 3in down pipe, greddy fcd, greddy boost control and apexi intake. i think with these mod i should be able to hit 350 right by up grading my turbo and injectors?

We work our asses off so we can have toys like these to play with. For the most part, stock is boring.
I talked to Bryan a few weeks ago for a friend who is the same position you are in. In addition to the fuel rail (wolfkatz or ats) and larger injectors (are you thinking purple top 550's? or bigger?), you should get an upgrade fuel pressure regulator and fuel pump (Supra TT fuel pump is good and not as loud as the Walbro 255). If you want reliable hp, you should go with a standalone and have a professional tune it. These are the basic parts that can be used for the set up you are thinking about or any changes you decide to make in the future. I always try to think about what can be used in the future so that I'm not spending money 'twice.' |
