Colin and I started planning our Hot August Nights Meet a couple days ago. Still need to finalize some of the plans.
I've heard the fuel pump on the MR2 Turbo is actually good up to something like 400hp...but I'm not sure. Are you doing the work on the two yourself Viet??? |

Viet, take a look at this thread: Fuel System Primer
Another plus with the Supra Fuel Pump is that it is a direct fit. You don't have to solder or crimp. Here is a good resource if you are looking to do the work yourself: MR2ModProject The writeup on changing the fuel pump is great. |

Yeah all of a sudden yahoo is down.. so maybe try again in a bit. Main reason for selling is I have not been on a bike since my accident in 2005 and I'd be dumb to jump on the track right away. I still go a lot but to watch friends and help with the prep work. I'm itching to ride tho... So as the first step, I need to get a street bike again, get the feel of it and get the groove back on then hit the track again

![]() Well, I was in pain but really did not "experience" the accident since I was knocked out as soon as I got hit. The funny thing with that is that, friends around me said I was responding ok with the paramedics heheheeh.... Anyway, I'm not worried about it and would hop back on again ![]() |

THE GROoOVE! Mixxer, you never lost your groove! hahaha.
Nothing serious ever happened to me...knock on wood, just had to lay down once to avoid a potentially devastaing accident. A family friend lost all of his limbs and someone openned their car door at a traffic light and killed another friend are the more serious ones. But a lot of other injuries, not because they were irresponsible riders, just drivers (for the most part) can't drive worth a damn. Plus traffic and road rage play huge factors when it comes to our safety. |
