Haha Mix, I do have money, but it's going to be for my books for school.
If you guys are down to help me pull it, I guess I can reconsider buying my books right when school starts. The only problem I have is where to put it. I can't have it at my apartment as you guys already know why. ![]() |

Update on my 2. I just went to the body shop to see my car torn apart. Everything is coming along nicely for the most part. Apparently they aren't doing any paint work which kind of concerns me but they're saying it'll turn out good because of the solid black. I think I'm going to pay them extra to buff the crap out of the whole car and get rid of my orange peel.
They did point out something that kind of sucks. Apparantly when the rim got hit, it was pushed in towards the suspension and now there is a buckle/dent on the INSIDE of the rim. ![]() ![]() They are saying that this can't be fixed and I shouldn't drive on it. SO, they have to look for ONE replacement Blitz rim. I have a feeling they aren't going to find it. I don't know what the insurance company will "cash me out" for on the rims and I don't really want to be cashed out. I like my Blitz rims. ![]() SUCKS. |

From the looks of its let em cash you out on it...then get it repaired..I have driven on worse that havent been repaired..and have repaired much worse with great results. (BTW who is they? anyways?) SO I was looking at some pictures of some prospective MR2 projects for my 2GR when I get back from my trip(that got posponed a week and cost me 2k$$) so it might not be a 2gr and rather a 1mz instead...and I came to a realization that my car has clears in the front bumper...I guess I never noticed that ..It also has slim side moldings..or what seem to be slimmer side moldings. I wonder what else is unique on this seemingly stock car that I will almost definatly sell this week for 2.5-3k..The previous owner was a big MR2 fan has a MK1 all done up and this was his girls car.. I just wonder if I am selling of some prized parts with my little knowledge of the MR2...I mean I have had this car for how long and didnt realize that all MR2 didnt come with clear front bumper lenses? ![]() |

hamid i would get a second opinion on the rim. call/email rbmotoring show them a picture and ask them if it's fixable or not... then work from there..
so i've been looking up and the forum about suspension and what not. sorry to bring it up again. but what's the best thing to do. buy the tension rods? or start replacing parts like bushings. ball joints, upper strut mounts, replace the tie rod all oem and new of course... the car right now pulls a little to the right but it was already doing that from the beginning. i am saving up money right now have 220... dad pays me a little bit when i go on jobs with him. was just wondering what you guys think the best way to go would be. don't get mad at me davis ><" lol just playing.. |

If I were you Dennis, I'd buy the tension rods, upper strut mounts, ball joints, tie rod ends, and the bushings! Then everything will be brand spankin' new!
But then again you'll need alot more than $220. ![]() |
