lol I have a mk2...no v6 yet..I cant bear to pull the engine out of a good running car..I thought mabye I would just not do an oil change or so or forget to put the drain plug back in when I did and "force and upgrade" but no...I couldnt do that to such a pretty nice car.. so instead I will sell it to someone who will enjoy it as it is. And buy someone elses fixer upper.. Mabye ill try a 2gr/1gr stroker when I get back...

Why is everyone seems to be hating on the wheels? Yeah the wheels are not so great but I actually like it. The guy is willing to sell for $5500 without the wheels but that just means I have to go out there and buy the wheels that I like which probably means coming up with about $2000-3000 for a nice one with tires on. I don't have the extra $$$ to come up with that and I sure ain't buying a $500 wheels/tires that I don't like. Thats $500 down the drain. I don't know how you do it Davis. I know you buy stuff temporarily and spend a grip then buy again of something you really like and end up selling the one you want for really cheap and loose a lot of $$$$$$ .... I just can't do it like that.

But yeah, thats the story...

Tin: Congrats on the job.

Don't let them hate on the wheels Mixxer! They aren't bad. Just save up for some Work Varianzas and sell those for tires for the new wheels! hahaha.

Yeah eventually... The car is going to be the way it is for a while... First mod I want to do is at least put a tower brace, change the rotors (it needs it) then might as well also put SS lines followed by good shocks/struts. Yup... thats about it..... Then just keep it clean

I understand but you are ripping yourself off. You are nice and all but for me? Unless I have tons of $$$ to blow away, I'd do exactly what you do like buy something for $1000 that I really dont like just to have something temporarily then sell it later for half? Wow.... Then later on buy something I really wanted? Thats $500 already down the drain. I know sometimes you even sell your stuff for more than half the price you bought them for... tsk tsk tsk... I can't do it... I just have to be patient and wait for something I really wanted before getting it

^ i know what you mean mixxer i can't do that either.
i have a friend who bought 18" rims for 200. one is cracked in 2 placees and with a previous weld. He brought it to rbmotoring. put it on the car drive around for a bit and it started leaking air took it out it cracked next to the old weld. now he's just going to sell the rims and get new ones. Didn't phase him one bit that he just wasted $100.

^really depends on what you are getting. I'd probably never ever buy a crack/bent rim just to spend more $$$ to get it fixed...

Ok I know what you guys are thinking. I posted my brother's wheel that I wanted fix. Thats a different story.. years back he bought those wheels for $2500 (real 3 piece). Obviously, we won't be able to sell it even for half and its probably worth it for us to just fix the damn thing. It is still sitting in my garage tho hahahahaa..
