So, whats there to do out there and what type of jobs are available? Cali is fun and I just couldn't imagine living in any other state.

i would said it's the same everywhere. work is the same. just that the living cost is cheaper here. and it's not all land and dry grass here. it's actually a really big city life with alot of new club and bar opening up all the time. so, life here is not that bad. beside the heat in the summer. alot of my old friend in CA think it's all cowboy here... like... howdy ya, ain't no mr2 here. yeehaa.

ic... yeah i was thinking the same as your old friends... "all cowboys"
![]() Good to know.... One of my brother's friend actually was from here in CA, went to the airforce, got stationed over there Texas (not sure exactly where), finished school etc but couldn't find a job so he moved back here just a few weeks ago trying to find a job. So that kinda makes me wonder what is up. I guess the only really way to get a job there is if you know someone from the inside (within the company) you are applying for? |

i own my company.
my company built school, temple, church, shopping center and..etc. when i was in san francisco. we built hotel and very large house off the bay on top of the hill. very nice houses. but, i am only here half the year. and the other half. i'm outside of the country with my wife. and if your brother was in houston texas. he would have a better chance in finding a job here. houston is the biggest city here in texas. beside my work. i love working on my 2 mr2. it's a blast. if i have a son later on in life. i'll pass one of the 2 down to him. ![]() |

i have ppl working with me for along time already. so, everyone know what they are doing. so, not hiring anyone at that field at the moment. and i only have girls working in the office. cute girls....so, i don't think you want to be stuck with them.
![]() i don't mind passing down one of the mr2 to my son. hopefully by then, i have my 94 or 95 mr2. so, what do you guys do for funding for your mr2 there? if you don't mind me asking. and do you work on your own 2? |

That could be my job (Stay with your girls in the office) hahahaaa
I work in Technology (Software Quality Assurance).. Anything in the IT field really I can do. Yes, i work on my own 2 90% of the time. Whats holding me with that other 10% is I don't have all the tools I need to either drop the engine or what not. I try to do what I can before going to a professional mechanic. |

mr.asian, I'll be your son
![]() Thanks for looking for cars guys. I think I'm most likely going to court because this douche isn't calling me after I send him nice but consequential texts and a voicemail. He will most likely lose his licence, so that makes me happy. I wonder how much it will cost to fix the damage that on my car. Here is the damage that is holding me back from fixing it... They should be firmly attached but as you can see, it got ripped from the frame... undamaged side and damaged side ![]() ![]() |

it looks minor. I'm guessing about $500. Frame shop can weld a new piece of plate in that area then do the necessary measurement. They are the pros tho so i'm sure they know more whats the best way to fix that. Call shops around and ask. Maybe take and print good pictures instead of taking the car itself since it does not look safe to drive it around from shop to shop. They should be able to give you a better idea with you describing them the exact problem and they can see from the pix. It will probably be even better if you talk to them and describe it so they can tell that you know what you are talking about and they can't rip you off.

Could be. I'm just thought fromhow I see it in the pictures. They will no doubt have to measure the frame and make sure its within spec.
Let me check our estimating tool here. My company has the measurement of the frame. I'll let you know. |

Dude...send me his address and I'll go have a little chit chat with him. We'll...me and my right foot
.Mr.Asian...I think most of us fund our two's with our regular jobs. I do some of the work on mine and Davis will be helping me with the rest. I have a ebay business that's paid for most of my stuff so far but it's not construction company. |
