Christian...do you have a daily driver? if yes.. take your time with the engine work. best to do everything right the first time.

koo for keeping the wing davis. it's going to look really nice once you paint the car too.

bicycle huh? i don't think your date or gf will enjoy you picking her up in one. but, only 2 days to work on the 2? to me...that really is not enough time to work on it. every time i pull my engine out. took me about 2 weeks. well, maybe it's longer for me cuz i clean all the parts to my engine. but, a clean engine is easy to spot leak anyway, and look good too

I like the way you think Frankie!

If you have the confidence that you will finish before school starts, drop it. You don't want to get stuck in a position where you need your car but can't drive because it's not finished.

civics cheap and reliable im actually have some money saved up for a Daily Driver.. but not much just a little under a grand.. but when i do have the money i cant decide whether i should get a Miata or a MKII N/A im siding on the MkII most likely but i could probably afford a clean miata for less than a clean MKII :/

haha friend found a video of me when i had my 85 Toyo Pickup 22R carb with a ****ping 90HP running turnbull canyon....

im doing the timing belt, co. w/ clutch.

dont worry frankie, dont got a girl... YET

yea i wish i had time to clean everything, heck i wanted to paint my valve cover too, but since im borrowing garage space i just want to finish it asap so that i dont slow down business.

I wish i had money to drop in somethign more beefier and money for a AE86/AW11 for daily. heck another mkII w/ a turbo would b nice, but then my parents would kill me. Maybe later.

since i have shop tools, should i still go for droppin it from the bottom? or should i go for the top? I know there are a few ppl out there who have done it from the top, and most ppl dont go that route because of the lack of tool or lift. But i got both that i can borrow. OPINIONS PLZZZZZZZ

thanz yall

well...if you have the shop. i use the lift and drop the engine to the bottom. it's alot more easyer. just don't lose any hoses when you take them off. yeah..i had to learn from my mistake. and the valve cover. you can paint it at home. don't really need a shop for that. just cover up the engine once you take off the valve cover.
