anwayz engine is officially out. I wanted to be a rebel and took the engine out the top. Wasnt hard actually, just needed to tilt the engine so that u dont hit the driverside mount.

I also separated the transmission and the engine and found out that i had exedy clutch. and the clutch was good, but the bearing was bad... Still i eneded up buying the whole exedy kit for the clutch. Cost me $130

2morrow is all bout engine work... WHOOO

be sure to take pic and post it up. i love seeing work on ppl mr2.

anwayz, today didnt do much spent most of my time goin to Mark's place n back.
Im pretty pissed about what the previous owner did to the car. The engine swap he did was all halfassed...

wat up guys! christian i am so glad that you decided to pull the motor. when doing TBs and clutches it makes the work a lot easier.

so i was hung up on doing as much work as i wanted to this past weekend cuz the power was out in our neighborhood for most of it. lame.
but i did finally get the 3 rib dropped last night. mk1s are so much easier to work on! i don't really have pics cuz i couldn't find the camera. i need to find that thing!
so today i assemble and time out the 7 rib, and do a bunch of cleaning and prep, including cutting that stupid battery tray out (battery is moving to the trunk, where it should have been in the first place!).
so i am excited because i should have the 7 rib in the car this weekend!!!!! i can't wait to get this car running!
