Hey Jeff, she's doing good. Finished up the Poly bushings, can't wait to test them out at the next AutoX event.
![]() I have buddies that work at Lexus of Westminister, management got mad at them for buying lots of parts at their discount. ![]() |

mark and I were coming up with cool but goofy names for meets that we planned. I coined 'hot august night' and mark 'turkey trot' by definition it would probably mean a cruise and some eats some where. Hopefully we can knock something out soon...

Actually this guy is really really cool. He is a member of ClubLexus and sponsors the site for up to 25% off all day. I met the manager as well and very cool stand up guy. He knows all about it. Ofcourse its not something we would want to abuse on using which is why when I buy stuff, it is at least $200 worth of stuff every time not like $10 every visit.

so i had a minor scare with the motor. i turned it over by hand and found some deposits on the cylinder walls that i mistook for evidence of piston slap or bad rings, but one of my sensais came by and informed me that it is only minor surface rust from the engine sitting for the past year. i should be able to clean it with some scotch brite and mineral oil or ATF. *whew* i was freakin out for a mo. i will take pics of it before i clean it and share with the community so you may all learn from my mistake.
hope you all have something fun going on this weekend. i myself will be working on the 87. oh and just to remind you all that JCCS is less than a month away. Don't forget to try to come out on Sat Oct 3rd! Japanese Classic Car Show / JCCS 2009 |
