I am pretty sure they on the average take 3 months to get back to you, if 4 months go by you might want to email someone. I loved the ride alongside too. I got to go up to the cars with him and fill out a impound form on an ileagal's car with no license. It was also raining and he pitched out the crown vic getting on the freeway. Where are you doing your ride alongs out of? I was doing them out of SJC.

As far as the rims, (sorry to hear you want to keep it stock
lol j/k) you should call more than one place and if you decide to DIY it, which by the way black always turns out best for DIY, you should atleast see about getting the stripped unless you can DIY that too. Just curious is your car N/A or Turbo? |

5-6spd swap for my SC4, some body works.. retrofits..... I'm exchanging emails with Ken (Shine Auto) trying to convince him to make a lip kit for my car to target 97-00 owners. Right now his main target are for those with 92-96 bumpers... I guess the ones that already own 97+ have mess up bumpers to begin with so they just ended up buying the whole kit.... I told Ken that mine is still mint and don't want to spend the $$$ replacing the whole bumper when I only need the lips.

The issue with 6spd (GETRAG) tranny is that it cost $3500. That is just for the tranny....... 5spd W58 tranny is under $1K.... around $700 to be exact plus all the other small stuff (drive shaft, drive train, clutch, flywheel, clutch pedal, clutch master/slave cylinder etc....)

Only a handful has 6spd (the bawllers) hehehee... 5spd has been out there for so long. Doing a complete manual swap if I DIY will cost me about $3K for everything. If I go with 6spd, it'll be about 7K
....Yes, 5spd will be able to handle it.. It just would be nice if I could do a 6spd.. Maybe if I get some of Reaction7's luck finding a really really cheap one heheheee... I need to make friends with one of those import/export JDM yard places ![]() |

Not doing anything to the engine... At least not yet heheheeeee... Eventually I'd like to put a supercharger kit on there just like what we saw on this guy's GS with "Ron Miller" emblems all around sporting out the company.... He has the cleanest setup on there...

Whats up JMoney...where have you been???
hahaha...Man that GS was dead sexy. Definitely the cleanest. Mix, we'll slowly start gathering things for you. I'm sure David (lextreme) has some connections and we'll learn along the way. One guy up in Canada (not colin) I know can get a lot of stuff imported. So maybe we could use him as a connection as well. |
