has the the v6 started yet? i want to hear that beast....
mmm so i was wondering since my car is from out of state (virginia) hence why there was no second cat when i was looking for it and since my car is Under Federal Smog, here... Does that open like a whole new window of options??? like Headers and still be smog legal? also does any one know why when me and my brother put his integra on jack stands. and gas it in neutral the front tires spin o.0 Last edited by datguydeni; 10-14-2009 at 08:04 PM.. |

wow..i'm gone for one day and you guys already picking on alex...
![]() colin..i would go with the rebuild. it's cheaper and won't take long. 2 weeks the most. and from what i know so far. the 2 is your daily driver. and you can replace the timing belt without needing to drop the engine. it just be a pain in the ass to do it. me and my friend done it way back when i was alot more skinny. which leave me with smaller arm to reach. i seen Dorman's v6 engine pic. look hella mean. park next to it and it might eat you up. |

Yeah I went over to dormans place yesterday (lives just up the street, kinda) It's coming along nicely. He needs to finish the wiring (if he hasn't yet) custom coolant/AC lines and custom exhaust. The wiring was about half done when I got there. FYI, I got FIRST DIBS on a spin with the V6 :P
Just came from smogging the 2. Went fantastic and easily passed. I love you old girl! ![]() So does someone wanna give me a time and money estimate on doing the timing belt? I think I have enough for a V6 swap but I think I might wanna spend the money on a trip and or snowboarding crap. |
