Alex! E30's are awesome cars. So much fun. If you want help with the timing belt and water pump give me a call. It's not too hard on those cars (yay FR cars
).Sorry Ren and I haven't been on much. Were a little too busy working on cars so we have no time to talk about the ![]() ______________ On a different note...I've been thinking about getting this over the GS430. Thoughts? ![]() |

i prefer the gs as well xD just something about it. makes it feel more VIP.
mmm just giving a followup. i've sourced all the parts. Having a shop press the new/used steering knuckle with a new bearing. installing it and a new strut rod put in. also bushings are coming in tomorrow from twosrus.. This will all be done probably friday. since i'm gone tomorrow @ a funeral in palmdale. Hopefully with all this my caster won't be completely wrong. and require me to buy adjustable rods. i hope mixxer would be pleased with this xDD Last edited by datguydeni; 11-04-2009 at 07:51 PM. |

If I were as baller as Ji I could get an IS-F!
I'm looking at the IS350 because it's nice and easy to live with. The debate is between the GS430 and IS350. The IS is a lot more fuel efficient but smaller. The GS has more room and is a little less sporty. With the GS I would end up spending more on the GS in parts but it's cheaper up front. Maybe I need to have you guys vote |

Gs450H 0-60 in 5.5, somewhat fuel efficient and only 55k bucks
Had a long night ladies and gents... Went to go see my background investigator but just before I found out that they were going to check for CVC violations So I rigged my front plate back on and had to leave the tint of course. They yelled at us (~20 of us had violations) and wondered if I was a rockstar that I needed tint I ended up getting some CHP homework, a ticket and told that IF we actually make it, it won't be until 2011 ![]() So now, I have to figure out what to do with my life until then....Hopefully something car related![]() 2011=1997 black NSX!? |

Damn Colin sorry man!
Dorman, don't get the IS350. I remember test driving that car and it made me car sick when I drove it. Well first, my roommate drove and I got sick within 20seconds. Then I drove and made myself more sick! It handled great, but the automatic trans kicked like a mule! The IS is definitely sportier, but a supercharged GS430 can be sporty too. And whats this about being a baller...I think Mix takes the cake on baller status! Deni I think Mix will be happy! Good luck! |

It's all good Ji, I'm less then a month away from being topped out at costco. It's brainless work, but the economy sucks and I'm thankful (especially since in 2 months, they are laying off 30 people) So now I'm on a journey to find a job that I love and keep making that G money

^Deni...go read Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kyasaki.
That's true Ji...you and your crazy supercharger . The other thing I was thinking about last night was for that kind of money I could get an E46 M3 which I've always wanted. However I'm sure logic will win out and the GS430 will be my next car/toy ![]() Hey Colin...sorry to hear about the tint thing. You should've called me when youy found out. I could have removed it for ya. Sounds like we'll be doing a V6 swap for Colin soon ![]() |

^Sadly that was a small part of my though about getting it.
How was your trip Mix? Hey Ji...why did the IS350 make you car sick? Was it the suspension? |

The automatic transmission. You felt every single shift in that car. The suspension was fine, like I said, the car handled well. Just bucked like crazy every shift. We test drove the IS350 with all the bells and whistles. The dealer said you feel the shifts more with the sports package. |
