Damn, it was fun! near the end, I pushed my 2 a little to hard, under steered then I braked and did a momentary drift. I almost crapped my pants! I was taking a medium sweeping turn at 65MPH with everyone else. Just before that we were talking and I made the comment "wow, I'm surprised I haven't heard any tire squeal." and I got this response "you're probably not driving hard enough" I laughed and then when I almost lost control and died, I gots me some tire squeal

Let me know if you need help... How much are you looking to spend? I think master cylinder alone is about $200 from the dealer or something. My brother bought one from Kragen for like $160 for his corolla. Its lifetime warranty so I guess that was a good thing. He thinks he needs to rebuild the calipers tho. Its not grabbing the rotors very well. |

mmm it's not slanting any more. mmm feels good that i have all functioning parts lol. i may though put more camber in the front about 1.5 in front or try to and maybe 1 in the back but of course i would need to get crash bolts i think unless those cambers in the rear are actually "adjustable"
great video. colin mmm guys umm since i added a new bearing to the steering knuckle is there a certain amount of time to break it in? (was reading about that clutch thread and was like do i need to break in the bearing i know they're totally different) any ideas? Last edited by datguydeni; 11-08-2009 at 12:21 AM.. |

Uhhh, I'm thinking you mean you want Negative camber Dennis, -1.5 is weak. You need -3.
and -1.5 to -2 in the rear. Negative camber wear ftw. None of Toyota cars besides the trucks and a select few, if any, have "Adjustable" camber. |

Mix!! I'mma need some of the ATE Super Blue.
Gotta love the super blue, having blue fluid on the ground is a sure fire way to know it was the brake fluid haha. Now that I think about it, 18 years for a master cylinder to go out ain't quite bad. Yeah at the dealership it's $200, I'd probably get it for a bit cheaper... |

Yeah I still have some of those blue fluid you gave me.... How can you not tell if its the mc or not? you already have blue fluid on there to begin with isn't it? But yeah, there is still like half a bottle in the garage.... Maybe its time to upgrade your master cylinder and brake booster? N/A booster and master cylinder is only like 400lbs pressure where as the turbo is like 1100lbs. You've been AutoX'ing Mindy afterall

Haha NA master cylinder is just fine with me. Hopefully I can get it by next week. It's sad to see Mindy sit out there in the street collecting leaves.

Haha okay, once agian my love for Mindy has overcome any negative thoughts I throw out at her. I want to put money into her again. Build up a C Street Prepared MK2 on a budget! No way will she be competitive with the CSP Miatas, but heck. She'll be fun! Looks like all my money is going into her once again haha.
