idk i always thought bad about the 7m's but until i did some more reading on them they were undertorqued by toyota..
kinda wanna mess around with that motor, although its similar to a 4age collection lots of heat in the 4th cylinder

welcome back mixx!! got any aussie tail lol jk..

Colin that drive looked fun!..

Mark hows the v6 coming along??

Davis that sucks about the Master Cylinder, told you if you let me drive your car would break down :/

anyways update on the 2 she runs and stays on thats the good news, bad news.. i need to check compression.. the timing i have a bit advanced since if the car gets anywhere under 1500 it doesnt have the strength to keep itself on.... i know my piston rings are done due to excess oil getting into the intake manifold.. but she stays on im just not ready to drive her until she is completely running right and not tweaked in anyway..

Sounds like like you should have changed the pistons and rings along with it when you took the head off. Now, you'll have to do this all over again heheheee...

I have those tools at home if you want to borrow it. I bought it around when I still have my Mr2 and never got to use it. I even purchased a leak down test tool (similar to compression tester). Oh well, its one of those things I like investing onto. I'm sure it'll pay for itself eventually

Haha yeah right Alex!! It's totally my fault. I abuse the brakes everyday, it's about time the master cylinder started leaking. Heel toe all day everyday and late braking didn't help either. I should take a picture of Mindy, looks like she's getting a spa treatment with all that foilage covering her.

EDIT: Pics!

Sitting there with her double staggered wheels.

Like my new sticker on the lip? First initial, last name, exclamation mark baby!

Yeah, I'd rather be autocrossing.

Oh wow Davis.. Looks like she has been sitting there for a while. Don't you guys have street sweeping? What/whose car are you currently driving? Grandparents?

I'm currently driving the Sienna and I hate it! It's so huge. Well at least I have a working radio/cd player. My car will sit like that for another week. I can still drive her, I'm just scared of driving her far with a leaky master cylinder. It just doesn't sound like a smart thing to do.

Naw, not looking for the front 15s at the moment Dennis, I have other and better things to spend my money on. I can't wait! The double staggered stockies don't even look bad to begin with if you ask me! I was thinking NSX wheels too a couple years back, but the fact I had to use spacers killed it for me. The only time the Previa is awesome is if it's a 5spd.

how bad is the leak?
I have a friend in a G20 that had to retap a line on the ABS module and didnt do it right so he leaks like crazy but the breaks still respond very well for a guy that does a lot of trailbraking lol

Lets just say it goes way below the Minimum level every morning after I fill it up the night prior. I do this so I don't have to worry about not having brakes to move the car around for street sweeping, plus when i get the new master I can just drive to school (hopefully I'll still have brakes on the way there! :omg) to replace it.

So, have you inspected it at all where the leak is coming from? Anything in the firewall behind the booster? I remember we bled that pretty good to a point like if you force the pedal all the way down it seems like either the pedal will bend or something

Yeah I've found the leak on day 1, it's leaking from where the master cylinder bolts to the booster. A couple of the master techs at work said it's the master cylinder for sure, so I'm going with what they're saying.
