Haha...you guys and your turbos. I might do that for my next MR2. But who knows. I've been playing with the idea of picking up a Spyder or a AW11 next but I don't like the styling of the MKIII but I really want a 2zz. The 2zz swap into the AW isn't as straight forward and the Spyder with a 2zz is suppose to be epic. We'll see. I'm kinda sick of working on cars for now though LOL

Congrats on getting the car running Ren. Hope it's out on the road soon.

mix, I'm pretty sure that video is different. Corinn's brother showed me that video telling me how that was his best friend in the evo and his dad is the one that crashed it. His dad is some famous guy that works on the simpsons tv show. Her brother is a stand up guy and I believe him. So the two are unrelated in my mind.

Regarding the gtr crash. I read the article, and even if the guy convicted is not the guy driving at GMR, it is his fault for insurance fraud. The key clue to their conviction is that the shop had the car for a long time and Mr.Chen reported 2 car crashes during the time the car was at the shop.

Anywho, congrats Ren on getting your car running.

Also, I would like to share some bad news. My car been into an accident. It is not huge (It still drives straight and doesnt look too bad), but it looks like I will really need to pick up welding and fiberglassing to work on my body. Looks like I will be doing Body before the engine swap. I have a lot of ideas that I want to incorporate. My car will be very unique if it comes out as it is in my head. Before that I need to find a beater to drive around, and some time.

If any1 knows someone who is selling a crappy old civic hatchback for cheap let me know (i mean dirt cheap). I am going for fuel economy here. I heard some go 50mpg highway if driven correctly.

As for time, I think i will be working on my car alot over the summer. Hopefully get a part time job as well, but that is not likely.

I wanst paying attention to the road, but was looking at a tow truck goin in a parkinglot. Hit a pickuptruck. I probly say it was a 10-15mph hit. It damaged my hood/fender/pass headlight. I bent my hood and fender back, but i will need to find a way to make a crappy mount for my headlight, so that i can drive it around at night for now. I fixed the guy's car. Turned out he was fine with me fixing his car instead of going to the insurance, this saved me from insurance rate to go up. I really feel bummed about the accident. Then again, my car did have alot of work to be done to the body before the accident.

Ic, the civics i was looking into were the EF. I know that the ones that get high mileage have no power, but thats fine with me since the car to have fun with will be the mr2, hence its called a beater. I just need to find one that is dirt cheap. I wouldnt mind a car w/o a/c, interior, body damage, or even salvage title as long as the car runs an its registered. Then again i am being too optimistic.

Thank you for worring about me.

The EF's are pretty hard to come by to. Those were what I were trying to buy before I got the mr2. If you get one you for dirt itll prolly run like dirt to. Thats just what youll have to be ready for is to work on it if your plannen on driven it far or a lot.
