Yeah I know exactly what you mean. Its easy to buy fixed up ones these days but then again it gets too old easy because you wouldn't know what else to do with the car when you buy one that is already fixed up. I saw another white one hardtop. I thought its the one that Dorman bought but i think it has white moldsings "AUTOMATIC". I didn't post it coz I didn't think you would want it anyway. I think it was going for like 1900 or something on CL. It was a 1991 all stock.
I'll try to make it on the 14th. I was telling Ji that December is usually busy for me. Well not me per say but i'm usually the "driver", driving mom around with family engagements.. So, what did you tell those other shops? What kind of bids are you getting regarding how much to fix it? I'll login to work right now and get that vin for yah.... Nevermind.... it was a blue one hard top... 1991 Toyota MR2 ECT The white one was $3200, sunroof 1991 MR2 Last edited by masagsxr; 12-02-2008 at 05:35 AM. |

Hey Laine...where do you live. Colin and I both have hardtops. His is out of commission at the moment though, and my hardtop is sitting till I sell my t-top.

Ontario. I currently own a hardtop and am not going to get rid of. I used to own a ttop before the hardtop and a sunroof before the ttop. I asked because it feels like I'm the only one with a hardtop around haha, even though that isn't the case.

They're pretty rare. Colin was the only one I knew with one till I picked mine up a couple of weeks ago. Glad you've decided to join us over here at MR2.com. You gonna come out to our meet on the 14th?

I don't know about the 14th. I was supposed to meet everyone that went to the turkey trot. But the fire ruined my drive down there because of closed freeways. I know they are rare. But when I went up to SF for a Treasure Island meet. They were left and right. Haha.

me neither. Let me guess laine 2, yours is a 91. If you went to the trot, out of about 20, you would have had the only HT besides me
Now mark has one. I heard davis is selling mindy for one too! ![]() Thanks mixxer, hope you make it! They want around 2500... I have all the parts except for maybe a few suspension bits. Last edited by honda_bar; 12-02-2008 at 06:40 PM. |
