It would fit no problem. The mr2 wasn't changed much from 91-99. I had a 98 jdm bumper on mine. Plus you get jdm corners and side markers Get a turbo one, so you get the fogs too. Please check to see if your car is prewired for fogs though by feeling around where there should go and look for the connector, also check the fuse box for fog light relay in the frunk.

anyone recommend a good tool or place that carries a good tool for removing the valves? I had to use a giant C-clamp before with a pipe i fab`d before.... But it was horribly unstable and a pain to reinstall the pins later...

Haha I was just kidding. But good luck with finding that lip. The demand for them is pretty high, but I almost never see them for sale, so I can't imagine how expensive they are when they pop up.

There's always a mk1 in the junk yards, maybe you'll be lucky to find an 87+ with the front bumper still intact.

damn, headgasket is leaking some coolant/oil into the combustion chamber. I bet the cylinder head is warped too.. anyone know of a good machine shop?

And also, while i got the motor down, i was thinking if anyone has removed the cruisecontrol system out and used the regular throttle cable in its place?

I've done that on my mk2. Removal is straight forward and you can just pull the original cable to the throttle body

lol, so just take the cable going to the cruise box and have it go directly to the throttle? It makes sense, didnt know if the lengths would work. Will definitely give it a go.

top end performance at lightened flywheels
specializes in flywheels. Now only if i could find a reputable head machinist...

Recently saw a post with Ultra Racing products for sale. I fell in love with the items, but the guy selling it was a middle man..

So I contacted UR, and found a USA branch store that sells em. Here are the prices from coastline motorsport, inc.
Ali Sarebanha (818) 222-8881
22836 Ventura Blvd. Woodland Hills, Ca 91364
Coastline Motorsport

Front strut bar $169
front lower brace $149 2 point
front fender brace $185 3 point
front lower brace $169 4 point LA4-963
front lower brace $169 4 point LA4-145
rear lower bars $149 pair RLS4-965P
rear lower bars $149 Pair RLS4-964P

WORKS - Vehicle Engineering - Power | Precision | Passion has em cheaper but the shipping ruins the price...

Throwdownperformance also has price matching from the EASTCOAST. And they include shipping into the price too! So they have the best deals, plus they will do package deals.

Here is the throwdownperformance's price for the
> UR-LA4-963 - $169
> UR-RLS4-965P - $139
> UR-RLS4-964P - $139
Man, I want these 3 braces!, soon as I get my car running.

good infor jiro. i did get to work on my throttle cable today. only took like 30min to do. had to adjust the idle too. cable came out alittle bit too short for me. so, i had to play around with the brace to get it to idel correctly.

I had to rent a car, and go find a used car to buy so i can get to work! just got a corolla AE91 to get me around now.

Today i started to drop the engine in between work. I need to replace the old head gasket, but if the head measures bad for warps, itll be more work.... not sure if it needs to be resurfaced or pressed/heated to fix(if it needs it at all)

This poor MR2 got mistreated by previous owner... so many problems. I wouldnt be surprised if the head is warped. ....
5th gear sticks, all CV boots blown, suspension are blow, and front steering rack is all rattly... clutch and brake fluid is black too.... this motor is so greasy from cv boot grease and engine oil leaks... i cant stand trying to drop it....looks like someone diarrhea'd all over it! lol.

its like i adopted a neglected/beaten puppy dog.. have to see it through
