I might just pick up an s51 tranny which I was planning on using for my 1mz swap. It's gearing will work fine for the mr2 and it'll allow me to get the swap started without the motor and without wasting money

perfection, bravo
I found ONE car that looked great without a spoiler when I was looking for my car...Since then I have only come across one more example. I have been thinking about doing it for a couple of reasons, it looks sweet (if done correctly) and safety (that wing gets in my way of shoulder checking, which I hate!) I'm thinking about doing my 2 with a different red (I'm going with the vibrant red from infiniti FOR SURE ). I think most of you have seen it already... It wouldn't take much to replicate the look since the HT is going to get painted, new bumper w/fogs, suspension and lets not forget the new tint I also have the original tails too (thanks davis) but it might look good with my 94s too. Eventually I would get thin 5 spoke bronze rims but thats way down the line. Maybe keep the lid black?? Anyways tell me your thoughts and opinions please. Honesty is the best policy!DesignerCars - Toyota MR2 - 1992 Toyota MR2 SW20 Pictures Here is a vid that my Auntie sent me OF ALL PEOPLE. She lives in Kitchener Ontario. Hope you haven't seen it. Ohhh woops, sorry Alaine. Hmm I thought it was a gen3 hehe.
![]() Haha Mixxer, Yeah, I know Dary, Cool guy. His 94 is so cleannn. Here's what I've been doing everyone. My 4 Door Daily! ![]() Fixing my 94 V6 Camry. So far I've replaced the Suspension with H&R OEM Sport springs with KYB GR-2 struts(Picture Above). Picture sucks, but I'm going to be taking some more tomorrow once I wash her and whatnot. I'm going to be needing new TieRod Ends, Lower Control Arm Bushings, and wheels hehe. and then I'm going to be rebuilding the engine next year. And then I'm thinking of later on swapping in a 97 1MZ with 5spd. ![]() Last edited by Davis; 12-03-2008 at 11:55 PM. |

Nice Davis...I need to get me a four door daily. Been mulling it over and I think I'm gonna pick up a 02 or 03 BMW 530i next summer. The Camry is a good car. I had one once upon a time. I think getting it up and running is a good call...then you can put more time and effort into the Deuce because you won't have to drive it all the time
So I just brought my new baby home . She needs a lot of TLC but she's a real diamond in the rough. I think I'm going to name her Morgan (although none of you will get the reference...unless I'm lucky )Colin...like I said earlier. I really like the car. But...no body kit = better looks. The no wing can be a really good look...especially with the turbo lid. Again...the wheels (specifically the tires) are too small for the car. Other than that I love it and yours will be better because it's a hardtop ![]() |

The tranny swap should be. The V6 swap probably won't take place till the summer time. Do you know the dates you'll be in town yet???

oohh mr asian! what can I get? I have monies (or I will
) If I can think of something small, I could just paypal ya! ![]() Dorman, personally the only thing I would change would be the tails (possibly) and that stupid trd stick above the skirt. I know you like the greddy sides! It seems like a cheap option that would make my car pretty unique. I always wondered if the car would work with just the sides, most cars DON'T! but the 2 looks good. I would keep the stock wheels for now. Lemme see if I can find something close to what I would replace em with...and I can't find any that are close... They are VERY THIN bronze 5 spoke Never mind EDIT: found one (but in black)from my favourite [<--- Canadian spelling ] rim company OZ.O.Z.
