Not just for looks Colin, your also getting it because of it's functionality!
and I forgot you had to go to a wedding! I was planning to go to the Wilmington pick a parts: Los Angeles - Wilmington - Sun Valley | Pick Your Part Auto Wrecking, but I can't go tomorrow, sorry guys. I have tons of stuff to get done. Hey Mixxer, that sucks about your exhaust man! It's gonna be hard to find a 2 there. Last time I went there, there was a red mk2 but that thing was completely stripped. |

I contacted ssautochrome (well i bought it from another seller but said ssautochrome was their sister company) and showed him the california exhaust setup. I told him that the downpipe was a one long piece all the way to the catalytic converter. After I emailed him the picture, I told him to look at it closely and to look at the one they are selling. He said that they were not aware it was like that and had asked me for a favor to make 2 adapters that they will be happy to pay for both and for me to send them one for their production . Hopefully I can take care of that next week. |

What's up with the tools collection? I've had a set of one of those 200pc toolset from craftsman that i've owned for years and years that served me well. I buy special tools here and there when needed and i've pretty much used all of them. I even have this spring compressor
Heavy Duty Strut Coil Spring Compressor Automotive Tool - eBay (item 120314238269 end time Oct-12-08 15:20:59 PDT) I've lowered probably well over a hundred cars in the past heheheee... My brother and I used to have a business selling just about everything you can think off. That didn't go well since everyone and their mammas was doing it at that time (year 1998-2002). Its a tough competition. Can't get the same price as everyone else so I know how it goes. Anyway, I myself would love to get a hold of some tools when theres extra change on my pocket hehehehe |

I'm gonna be jealous if you don't have to paint yours haha. Yeah, the guy said it came with everything...although I kinda want to get the strut kit for it
![]() I'll let you know when it comes. It's still on route _______ So Colin...I say you just go for the gold and do a beams swap. It'd be pretty sweet and I'm sure getting it by emissions wouldn't be that hard...that'd be a pretty unique, especially here in socal. I think you can get it done for under $4k if you're thrifty. On another note Colin, have you tried the rubbing compound on your paint like Ji did? ________ Hey Davis...would you maybe wanna go to a junkyard or two before the BBQ this sunday??? If so we should just go to the Anaheim one near Abner's house Orange County - Anaheim - Stanton | Pick Your Part Auto Wrecking Last edited by Mark_Dorman; 10-07-2008 at 01:10 PM. |

Nothing Clever
|
Man I really should have taken some before and after pictures. I went to a Meguairs car detailing clinic the other day for clublexus and it was inspiring. I'm going to order a lot of stuff for detailing my cars. I pretty much have everything in their consumer line, but now the professional line! I'll definitely take some before and after of the GS when I get everything together.
Colin, use a really light rubbing compound on a test section first to see if it helps. Then wash, claybar, wax/polish. Should take you about 5-6 hours. |

lol, nah man. I've been kinda living the good ol single life and seeing as many girls as I can while I'm 24. But one of them is making a good impression on me. So I might drop the others and just keep this one. So its a good and a bad thing lol.
