^I like the idea. We'd have to do some major coordinating and planning. This would be something we're we'd have to plan it three or so months out and just set a date and tell people to come.
We should do some general interest polls for all four states (California, Nevada, Arizona, and Texas). I like the Vegas idea if we could make it work and someone knew where we could hold a meet. If we all stayed in the same hotel we could use part of they're parking lot and maybe use a ball/banquet room too ![]() |

Or, we could always go to the Supra Invade Las Vegas - Invaded by MR2ssss hehehehe if we do not get a lot of response to do our own Vegas meet. At least we'll know that there is an event there that happens every year.

^both interesting ideas mixxer and frankie, I like both. A supra MR2 super meet sounds pretty rad. I think we would (like mark said) have to give people around 3 months to get ready for one (book time off and what have you) and the biggest challenge, finding a spot to have it. I think it's also important to get some of the MAIN people from the OC forum and other states to take it seriously.

^LoL.... must be good that the wife don't read threads hehehee...
Looks like you have a lot of hookup here. A friend at MGM and a few others? Thats awesome... Not sure if you guys remember but I was in vegas the week of thanksgiving. Stayed at Imperial palace from thursday and checked out sunday. Our bill was only $120 for the room.... Not sure if your friend can beat something like that knowing they are a big hotel and run most of the PPV events.... I guess we'll brainstorm some more. |

I'm digging the huge lets all get together and lots of money since we're at Vegas meet idea.
![]() ---------------- 12/15/08 (No need to read if you guys don't want too. )Chapter 236.5 of Davis's Life: Exciting rain comes Exciting times! Dear MR2.com/forums/socal-mr2/Toyota-MR2-34204-official-socal-chat-thread-62.html Today I woke up to the rain... I look outside and there's Mindy just sitting there under the tree being wet. Poor girl. So like at 11 I took off to go to Irvine to reschedule my MSF course which sucks. On my way there on the 22 freeway, a white F-250 Lost control in front of me while he was getting on the freeway. I was just like "Wow he lost control.." and a second later I was like oh crap dodge! Talk about a late reaction. So I got to Irvine did what I had to do, Done. On the way home, going on the on-ramp to the 405N, My MR2 actually understeered! I was turning and turning and turning the wheel while i noticed my car wasn't turning. Oh noes! I let go of the accelerator and she caught traction and by the way my steering wheel was at full lock, so I oversteered and all this happened going at about ~25mph. Exciting!Got to work at around 4PM, Hung out with the techs, got my check and decided I should finally go to the WaMu next door to cash it since it's already like 5:30. So I'm waiting in line and then I noticed one of teh girls that works over the counter looks sooo familiar....Hmmm. Middle school? "Next In Line" she says. What do you know, that's me! I hand over my check to her, while noticing she was looking at me the whole time and then paused for a couple seconds when she looked at my check. "Did you go to school in Long Beach?" she asked. "Yeah I did" I replied. "OMG Davis!!!" she yelled out with shock. "Oooo No wonder you looked so familiar!!! Sorry but I forgot your name! " "It's Jennifer " and well we talked for a bit. She was cute then and she's still cute now! Oh and I bought a helmet today to get ready for my class! ![]() What an awesome day it was, full of adventures and experience! |
