I think it's called a t-top shade. Is there different colours of shades? I think not but I could be wrong. Ahhh, the joys of a hardtop ![]() |

my t-top is ok. i have the shade for that already. my other mr2 is a sunroof. and when i got her. it never came with the sunroof shade.

That's a really good deal. Davis said he got his for ~$240 with his toyota discount so you did well. I got mine for $160 and picked it up in Canoga Park. Reason it was so cheap is it has no paint. The guy Alan (user name ProjekIssei) sanded it down to powder coat it but didn't end up using it because he has a top mount IC. So he listed it on craigslist and I snagged it up. Now i just have to paint it and mount it

seems like finding one on a mk1 is a lot easier... I always wondered if they had these but never knew they existed till now...

ooohhh...you got a better deal. very good find mark.
without the sunroof shade. it get pretty hot here in texas. and the sun is just beating down on my face when i drive the black one during the daytime. for those of you with the sunroof and no shade. how you deal with it? |

yup...i didn't know sunroof came with it. i ask the dealership and they said that it never came with it. until i met other mr2 owner with sunroof and took pic of it...

i guess they have grey and black ones too. Is your roof tinted? That is how people TRY to deal with it

yeah. i think i'm going to tint it myself tomorrow. better then nothing.
![]() funny thing happen before our meet here in texas. i was driving home from work and saw other mr2 on the road. so, i decided to chase him down to invite him to the meet. but, when i pull up next to him. he just give me a look. kind of like.. what the hell? then, i remember what car i was driving at the time. it was my honda civic. so, i guess to him. he might was thinking.... damn ricer trying to race me again. so, he just look at me and took off so freaky fast. and you all know...with my whp in my civic. i couldn't catch up to him. damn. lost other one. |
