yeah...i was planning on calling mark after i have all the detail. trying to get the thread up at least 3 months before the big event to let ppl know and be ready for it. anytime after may 20th is good for us over here. no school and no work. so, it be great.

? That way everyone would be out of school and it wouldn't be quite as busy a time in Vegas. Let us know how your meeting goes. If it goes well then we can arrange a conference call with our two groups (at least the organizers). Colin and I were actually planning a Vegas Trip to scout out event places and ask around about renting out a parking lot.

july is good too. as long as it is after may 20th. my friends that work at mgm is going to try to look for parking lot we can use for our meet there. but, you guys input is always welcome. we can see which area would be the best for all of us.

hellstorm for the board came out to our last meet. and i normally don't like wide body kit. but, his was really nice and clean. his photo from the board is nice. but, it's a killer in person. nice guy too

Drove about a mile to his house...he's the owner of PTP Performance, a sponsor on MR2OC!! His car is blue with a Bomex front, Greddy sides, and some rear bumper I didn't recognize....but it has a 2.2 stroker @ over 400whp!

I'm dumb though, didn't get any pictures and totally forgot his name, but he gave me a business card so I'll dig it up and update in the morning...

no...colin didn't said a thing yet.

we're havn't came up with a name over here yet until we have everything set. good luck with you guys next meet. hope you guys get new member in. we are going to try to have one more meet in before the big one over here.

did i ever tell you guys that we have over 200 mr2's here in houston? well, about 8 years back. our mr2 meet use to be 50 mr2 and up every monthly meet. always different owner showing up every month. but, most of them have sold their mr2 or move on to better thing like having a family. i'm one of the few here that are trying to keep this alive. but, most of the new owner here don't know about the mr2 board, mr2oc or houston-import for mr2. so, it's only if i run into them that they will know about us. i'm 38 now and soon to pass this on to my son. just hope he got the love for mr2 too. yeah...i know guys. i don't look 38. i get it alot. most of the mr2 owner here are in their 30's. some are in their early 20's. youngest we have is 18.
