at the last mr2.com meet (november) i know at least 5 mr2oc.com guys drove as far as lancaster to attend the meet. i personally contacted approximately 10 people to attend. now i see a mr2oc.com new years day meet in pasadena and no support from this site.

i'm independent and have joined both sites in the love of mr2's but can someone explain to me what's going on? both group of guys are cool, chill and knowledgeable and the meets are virtually the same.

so why aren't we A community and why no support for the new years meet?

just something i'm confused about. thanks, d.

first of all let me say happy holidays.

now come on...i wasn't invited either to any meet. we're adults and obviously have something in common. if a meet is posted that's all is needed. i took it upon myself not knowing anyone at mr2.com really to invite/make them aware of the november meet. to be honest that's a lame explanation and not really well thought out...lol and you know i think you're a great guy.

i think it would be ideal if we could somehow be inclusive. if i'm wrong and/or missing something (maybe history) then i'll stop with my efforts. let's make all the meets successful for both sites is my thought.

Hi damienx... In response to that let me just say I was a member of mr2oc months before I joined mr2 . com.... I was more active here because I felt more welcome here somehow. I guess its really hard to keep up with other forums these days.. I'm also a member of club4ag and socal86 since i started there and my older brother has owned a few over the years and still own one now....

Well, I guess to sum up, its not that we're not inviting mr2oc. everyone is more than welcome to any of the meets here its just that no one really keeps whats posted here to also be posted on another site. Like I said, probably just hard to keep track on many different sites to post the same thread(s)..

But yeah bro.. "everyone" are welcome.

I guess that's more it. No one from the OC really makes an effort to invite us to their events (Well...no one posts their events on our forum like we have on theirs) and I just forget to check for them. I guess I should start to be more active on both sites these days

ok that's cool. i didn't even know about those other two sites you mentioned. i assumed (after my limited researching) that mr2.com and mr2oc.com were the two main sites for the mr2 hence i check in periodically with both.

i will check out the other sites as well to see what's going on.

yeah these are the two main sites for mr2/mr2oc.. the other one is usually for AE86 corollas thats why its club4ag and socal86.

although i won't be here for the january meet (playing in a tennis tournament in miami). my plan was to post something regarding that meet on the mr2oc.com's website if i didn't see something. i posted and texted before regarding the november meet. so to answer your question...of course i would...it would be my pleasure...lol

you great guys have a good night and hopefully i'll see some of you in pasadena.

by the way, i'm all in for the proposed las vegas meet...i hope it come to fruition...good luck with the planning.

just saw the post... I take it this is on actual new year's day Jan 1st? It didn't say there. It just says the time and the address.... I'll try to make it... Aren't there a lot of cops floating around there? I haven't fixed my tinted windows yet and don't want to get busted for whatever else just for one of those cops to write a ticket hehehheheeh

mixxer, just take the 605 ===> 210 and exit hill. You will spend very minimal time on the streets. 30 seconds maybe?? I live 5 mins away
