SoCal BBQ Oct 5 or 12?
so in a couple other threads we all were talking about BBQ. so i got to thinking, why not throw a bbq. my place has pretty decent parking and i got a good size backyard to throw one. now im just testing the waters here and would like to know how many would be interested in the bbq. i live in Anaheim so it might be close to some and far for others. i think matt comes back early oct so im trying for the 5th, but im jumping through a couple threads so i dont know if the 5th is taken for a meet so i decided maybe the 12th. let me know what day is good and how many ppl want to go. if there is enough interest, ill definitely throw a bbq.
so the breakdown is: have the bbq on the 5th or the 12th? how many are interesting in this idea and would like to go? what meats to BBQ? |

SoCal BBQ!!
alright so the breakdown comes to this; we're having a BBQ at my house on Sunday Oct. 12th. this is kinda like a mini meet where everyone gets to get to know each other and have some fun.
Location: Abner's house Time: i wanna try to start it mid-day so everyone has time to come. so im thinking of maybe around 2pm. let me know if the time works for everyone. depending on when everyone shows up, theres a possible cruise after the bbq, that ill discuss later. What to bring: yourself, and any kind of food you'd like. i must warn you i have a small grill so if anyone has another charcoal they can bring it'd be great. Rules: have fun and be responsible. i must ask that anyone who drinks will have to check in keys. i dont approve of drinking and driving. also no drug use at my house for anyone who does. please keep that stuff at home. Contact Info: if any questions call me and let me know, my name is Abner. if i dont pick up please leave a msg and let me know whats it about. 714-591-7104 (no prank calls please, if i start to get them, this will be the last event ill host or help put together.) for the most part i think that pertains to most. if i missed anything or anyone has questions let me know. At the beginning of october i will start a roll call. if you guys are going please let me know so i may plan on how much meat to buy. the most i believe i will pick up will prob be about 10-15lbs of korean bbq. thats already a lot of meat. if you guys have stuff to bring, by all means bring it. the more food the better i say. ^You officially suck Colin
J/KI'm in...although I don't know about trying to cruise to the beach. It's not exactly close to Anaheim. Cruises usually work better when you are on roads where there are very few turn offs and signals (depending on the size). We'll figure something out though. This will be fun. Is everyone gonna be able to do two meets two weekends in a row in their twos ?Thanks for taking the initiative Abner. That's what I like to see from the SoCal Crew |
