So I'm flip flopping again on what swap to do...
I was pretty set on the 1mz but I keep thinking about how much easier and cheaper the 3vz is...I don't know...what do you think all???? Davis...do you think it'd be better to just buy a car with an old 3vz in it so I have all the parts and just do a swap that way instead of trying to buy the engine? heh.. I ruined 2 1mz's already.. so dunno what makes you think a 6 will last longer than a 4 banger.. that's all I gotta say. and to the OP.. gosh your machine shop is expensive.. I guess its either that or my machine shop hooked me up a lot! |

I gotta agree there's no reason to think a v6 will last any longer than an I4...it's just how you treat it and the condition of the engine to begin with...
But yeah...to each his own |
