No really...I'm gonna call him. If he'll give it to me for less than $400 I can sell the rest of the car to a junk yard for $150 or so and make a little bit back. A head gasket is super simple!

won't...I can't afford over $500. I'll start at $300 but won't go over $450 so I can cover tax and stuff. Yeah for new head gaskets!!! Pretty cheap plus I'd get all the accessories, ECU, wiring, and y-pipe. I'd still need a cherry picker to pull the motor...

just tell the guy to put $0 on bill of sale so u dont have to pay tax and just do transfer fee when u go to DMV its an old car and its a fixer anyway.. I think the owner will go with that or even just put $100 as sale price.

Maybe I can keep everything at my parents and take the car to pick-a-part after I pull everything off. I'll probably take the headlights and front fenders cause I know they're hard to find...

I'll get one for sure...or rent one...either way I refuse to do it without one. Or maybe I can talk my parents into letting me mount a wench in their garage

A big tarp covered with those rubber mats or something. My parents garage isn't very nice so I'm not too worried. If you saw it you'd understand...plus I've spilled so much oil and crap in there over the years no one would notice a little more
