Yup.. if it hits it hits bro... only way around it is to put spacers or get lower offset +30. I'd buy some spacers if you are press for $$$ than trying to get new wheels. Those wheels you got there don't look bad at all.

You should.. thats the cheap way to go for now... That way you can still drive the car instead of waiting weeks/months to save up and come up with the $$$ for good wheels and your car just sitting on the driveway..

if you don't want to use spacer. then, just don't drop the car too much. at the right height. you won't need spacer on them.

I think his car will look like one of those SUV's (Nissan Morano, Lexus RX 330) if he raise it up high for it not to hit
...Heres a guide christian. http://www.rims-n-tires.com/info_specs.jsp or Gordaen's Toyota MR2 Wheel and Tire Calculator |

Christian 8's in the front are pretty wide that is the maximum it will fit. I would do what mixxer said and raise the car slightly adjusting the ride height so you don't rub your front fenders. Be careful over bumps you will rub. I think it is time to roll your rear fenders too!

for your next set of rims. i go 17x7 for the front. and if the back or the front rub. you can cut the inside bottom of the fender
