Interesting barter thing for someone in the IE

Ok, so after a fairly cool craigslist barter, I've got a mechanic in my pocket, and he's got a web designer/IT guy oncall. He's offered to do an engine swap for me, but we're trying to keep things on a barter basis only...so he won't be buying me an engine...and obviously cashflow is tight, or I wouldn't be hitting up the barter section on Craigslist!

So here's where YOU come in! His shop specializes in transmission work, and he said he'd be more than willing to offer HIS services as barter for YOUR goods. That's right! If you have a rebuilt (or rebuildable) 4A-GE (of just about any flavor...red top, 4agze, 20v...whatever), or a 2ZZge...or a 3sgte...or a beams...muwhahaha!...he'll overhaul your transmission or do other related work for you, up to a value equivalent to the engine. You scratch my back, he scratches yours...and I build him a website and fix his computers for the next 10 years! Neat huh?

Take that project you're never going to finish or that extra engine you've got laying around, and as long as it can be crammed into an AW11, you can get transmission work done in exchange! If you're not too far from Riverside, he can even come tow it! Cool, eh?

Can anyone else vouch for the guy? What's the name of his shop?

Well, here's his current site:
Auto Shop Offering Transmission Service by Our Mechanics. Riverside, CA.

He's been in business over 10 years...(and he really needs a new web site...heh)
:-p

I'm sure there are people who can vouch for him, but I just met with him for the first time today. So maybe you wouldn't want him to work on your precious Two (or maybe you would! How would I know?), but yeah...if your wife's car needs the transmission rebuilt...
