In fact, it is still the oem paint, but based from the poor quality of the camera phone and the angle I shot it at, it looks clean haha. I try to preserve the oem paint as much as I can by washes every week and wax once a month. But it's kind of hard to maintain damaged paint that's 18 years old hahah. Thanks for the compliment though

gahh

im kinda confused on what to do w/ my car... like i am not going to sell it

like dailying an MR2 is such a waste, and the practicality is all gone (cannot give rides/no room to carry basic stuff)

Should i turn my car to an all out track car? or keep it as it is?... gahhh

I used to daily my MR2, get groceries, go to work, etc. Its not too bad if you keep it clean and not filled with useless stuff. Also, you should only be driving 1 lady at a time anyways! no pun intended you sickos.

Why don't you convert it to a full project car after you get a reliable daily that you don't have to fix. That way you at least have one car you can depend on and the 2 can be a project you don't have to rush everytime you need to fix something and take your time to do it right! My 2cents.

+1.... You did so much work on that car already Christian... You should get a clean decent daily and use the 2 as your project all out track =)

I've been dailying mine since I bought it in 03 (whenever it's running ). You just need to get creative when you need to carry stuff! Take out the passenger seat, take the spare out of the frunk. I tied a 35g indoor pond to my roof once

ah.. i guess, but its such a PITA than having a 4 door sedan... i guess i should just save up until i get a daily.

o btw, both my heater and A/C dont work, so thats why im kinda comtemplating to make it a full track car. But to do so all my interior n my sound system needs to go out (which i kinda spend quite a bit for a college student) and thats why i dont want to make it a track car....

You don't have to get a 4dr daily, just not a 2seater. The sound stuff is relatively easy to move over to your daily too.

+1 on being creative with space. I wouldn't tie anything to the top of the car now, but its like tetris man!

6spd - I have T-Tops, so it wasn't too much of an issue.

Cjung - I don't have AC either! But I have tinted T-Tops and shades, so it doesn't bother me unless it's a long drive.

Davis I love you, but we should stop using this thread and put it on standby. It's like this, the 1st socal chat thread is like a toyota with a ton o miles. Just cause it has a ton of miles doesn't mean you stop using it or fall OUT of love with it. It hasn't died yet and we're all excited to see how long it will last.

I hope we can all agree and put this thread on hold for now and just leave it in the garage till our baby dies...

Nothing wrong with the two as a daily driver. I use it as my main car. People say it's impractical, but I say I don't have to give people rides haha. I used to have a camry and I got fed up with people asking for rides and I would always be the person to drive if we were to go anywhere far. Now it just foils other people's plans haha. Cjung, what kind of daily driver are you planning to get?

anwayz

today removed my A/C pipes and condenser and installed my other set of rims...

but as always problmes occurd... i might need to do some fender rolling.
and i been having this weird knocking sound behind me when i take sharp corners... its pretty loud so i am not sure what it is... Could it be that i need to tighten my suspension in the rear?
