What did you get a ticket for? I just paid my speeding ticket (85 on the 5 freeway)...$400. Would have almost paid for a Valentine1. What a waste indeed!

Picked up a set of rotors today from R1Concepts... going to try to install them on sat if i dont feel lazy hehehe

I'll try first thing in the morning... Lots of work ahead.. Its not just slapping the rotors on. Need to install ss lines, flush the dirty old fluid, install new rotors, install LS400 calipers and bleed the whole lines.

haha i do obey the traffic laws mixx..
this last ticket was kinda stupid...
went to GMR because it was too hot down here.. i was chilling outside my car and there were 3 other cars parked up there..
sheriff pulls up asks them if they had the mountain pass, they said no, sheriff told them to go.. so seeing that i thought i would get the same thing why try to make things su****ious by getting in my car and taking off..
sheriff pulls up to me asks for my pass i didnt have one so then he tells me to pop my hood..
i had nothing to hide so i pop it, he says that my intake is illegal which it wasnt poited that out to him and then he tells me my transmission is dirty so he is gonna write me up for emissions gave him my license and it was suspended..
to end the story got written up for 4 things
suspended license
no insurance
modified emissions
no registration..
and thats what i paid..
if i would have known my rights i wouldnt have got that ticket..
but lesson learned ..
sorry for the long story!

i was hoping to get th top of page 4 :/

Seems like you can fight that case.... And first of all, they do not have the right to inspect your vehicle unless they have a warrant. Unfortunately, you waived that right when you opened the hood.... Dirty transmission does not mean you'll have a bad emission. ... The transmission does not cause the emission to change....hhhmmmm....

So how is it obeying the law when you have a suspended license in the first place???

ha ya i know i wasnt obeying the law when driving with a suspended license but it was a risk i took and thats what happened..
i know i didnt know my rights back then but since that ive read up on my rights and knowing what to do..
i was thinking of fighting it but seems like i would have lost since i gave up my right and had a suspended license..
it wasnt a traffic ticket but it was a misdemeanor...

the good thing i payed it off and i dont have to worry bout it anymore..

Damn Alex...sorry man. CA is broke! They are looking anything to get money. Even b/s tickets. You would think 85 on a wide open 5 isn't too bad right...nope $400 ticket. No excuses..I was speeding. Glad to hear you got everything taken care of.
