it'll sound like crap. theres too much insulation and seats and interior between you and the speaker. it'll sound muddy.
the rear area is good for subwoofers, and thats pretty much it. |

ah I see what mean. Well I can't imagine a removable 8 being anymore difficult to put in and out that my 6x9s. It all depends on exactly what your wanting it to sound like. My set up doesn't have much bass as it is just really loud mid range sound. It was fine for me for a while but as my motor got louder I want my speakers to as well so I can actually listen do them while driving. Lol

get a real sub. a bazooka bass tube works great, and is compact. theres also the basslink (forgot who makes it) and a few other similar products.
i removed most of that crap last year.. one small 8 or 10 inch woofer is enough to cause hearing damage and make your ears ring after a short drive. a reasonable sized 8 can be setup to provide good sound.. anything more and you're just trying to annoy the neighbors. |
