Question Help with alpine receiver!

I am about to get a Alpine receiver for my 1991 mr2 (this one Alpine CDE-102 CD receiver at Crutchfield.com)because my old boss reveiver eats my CDs and the lights are messed up. Anyways I have never put a receiver in a car and was wondering how hard it is to do bymyself or if I should have a professional install it.

And if i do do it bymyself what tools do I need besides a screw driver and soldering tool.
Also what do I need to take off on the dash to take out my old one. And how do I take it off?

old reciever looks like this(http://www.audioallies.com/images/Bo...o/AVA2695R.jpg

do i need a new part to hold the alpine in or should crutchfield give me one with it?

and do i need some kind of tray to put under the alpine?

Thanks for your time and help in advance!

It is very easy to do. Buy an aftermarket receiver harness from any audio store. Usually $20. I'm guessing your car already has one. if so, use that one. It makes the new radio plug and play. All the wires are color coded. The surround comes out with 3 phillips screws. 2 under the ashtray and 1 under the key hole for the ignition. It then just pulls off. i would recomend getting a pocket for under the new stereo. I think new from toyota is $30-40. Or, if you buy an aftermarket install kit, it may come with a pocket. $20-25. you should be able to have the whole project done in under an hour.
