Smile Wouldnt this be cool.

After starting to make this thread im coming to the realization of exactly how much of a dream this is... But.

Wouldnt it be cool if after years of research they came out with a program that simulates the characteristics of a certain motor, and would allow you to simply plug in your EMS to the computer and tune it computerside? After you have the base tune down, plug it into your cars harness and do the final adjustments there (because every motor is different). You would not only save dyno hours, but mass money as well.

I doubt that would ever happen. But technology is getting close to the point that output and readings from sensors can pretty much get you a tune without MUCH human interaction.
