Which EMS should I use?

I read some posts and I am still fairly confused. I own a 93 MR2 Turbo. It only has a Greddy Profec B Spec II boost controller, a Blitz turbo timer, Apexi air intake, HKS SSQV blow off and Berk Tech dual exhaust/ Berk Tech downpipe on the otherwise stock engine right now. I was looking into getting an Apexi SAFC II, but i dont want to waste that money if its pointless compared to an EMS. If so, which should i go with that will be great with the set up now, and also later with uprgades such as bigger turbo, 550 injectors, intercooler, igniton? Thanks in advance guys!!

i don't know if apex-saf is just a piggy back but if you have money i would get a standalone management system try aem, before i sold my miata i had a mega squirt that did wonders to it when its was all motor setup and turbo setup.a standalone might give you 8-15hp on stock setup that's when its tuned, but if you add boost controller, high flow fuel pump, cams injectors, bigger turbo you will get impressive results.i had a greddy turbo on my 1.6 miata that gave me 135hp to the rear at 5psi,I put a standalone it became 148rwhp,then i put fuel pressure regulator, boost controller, fuel pump, injectors and got it tuned to 14psi and got 237rwhp easily.then re tuned it to 21psi a week later just to see what would happen 305rwhp is what i got, blew my motor withing 2 weeks but i have a crate motor ready, broke my tranny and diffs axles after killing corvettes,04 svt cobra and many more, then my exhaust manifold bolts stretch along with cracking the manifold not even the turbo timer could save the turbo.then i sold the car.

One of the more popular EMS's to use on the MR2 is the Hydra Nemesis (Welcome To MR Controls, KORACING :: High Quality Automotive Parts - Products). Its plug and play and there are tuners for it all over the states.
PHOENIX is online now

Thanks guys! Yeah the safc is completely pointless it seems with the capabilities of an EMS. The Hydra Nemesis seems to be the best functioning EMS for the 2. Any input on the Haltech EMS compared to the Hydra?
