An im needing confirmation that all i have to do is get a gm iat censor to delete the maf, an repin my 91 harness to a 93-95 harness? an it should work then right? I know theres a lot of threads about it but mostly about the gen3 pfc into other harness'/

You need an IAT and a MAT sensor. And you need an adapter plate or custom tap your throttle body inlet.

As for the pinouts, The ECU diagrams have been posted. Or you could pay someone like Bryan at Berk to make you a custom jumper harness for around 150, or you could even send the PFC to ATS racing, and Aaron can reconfigure it internally to work on the 91/92 harness if its set for the 93-95 harness.

like luni said you need the IAT and MAT sensors. you can use the IAT sensor on your engine lid if you have one and could get a MAT sensor kit from berk. Then just repin your ecu connectors and that should start it.

I'd suggest going w/ the jumper harness route. That way you won't have to hack up the stock wiring on your car, nor would you have to mess w/ the pinouts on the actual PFC unit.

Sorry, i don't mean to hijack the thread but don't you need to change out the MAP sensor also when using the Powerfc?

Yes you do, but you can use the (MUCH!) cheaper GM one. You don't need to stick w/ a Toyota one when you're using a stand alone.

You actually DONT need to change the MAP sensor when using PFC. You just pretty much WANT to.

You can make the PFC read the stock 2 bar sensor. But the 2bar sensor stops reading around 20 psi IIRC.

Sorry kingceasar, so if you did not want to boost more than 20 psi, the stock MAP sensor will work just fine?
I ask because i just purchased a pfc w/ datalogit and will be buying the patch cable from BERK ($150) and the GM MAT sensor but do not want to boost over 20 psi on 94 octane gas.

I lied.

Gen2 sensor maxes out at 17 PSI. 17.395 to be exact according to the linear voltage scale.

Gen3 goes to 26. And a GM 3 bar goes to 29.4
