Nifty or a waste of $$?

Has anyone played with one of these?

I would just be a little wary because the only reason you'd need it longer is for more torque, and being extendable=hollow; hollow=weaker

^ Agreed, but for this price, you couldn't get those 3 pieces.

I just got one of those for my B-day...

I haven't actually used it yet, but Im not really impressed. What seems like it will annoy me to no end is that the extending handle turns freely. But I see one advantage, if the swivel head was at 90 degrees, then the turning of the handle will help get the bolt of faster once it is loose.

The swivel head locks, which is nice.

its home depot, People have returned tires there before.... eithr way husky is an awsome brand in my opinion. I have also played with one of these when I worked there, it seemed to be strong to me.

I have one and at first i didnt really like the fact that the handle spins freely, as previously stated, but the more i use it the more i like it. you can turn the head 90 degrees and spin off bolts quick, and it makes it easy to break a bolt loose and then shorten it to unscrew it quicker with the shorter handle.

I see busted knuckles in the future of the user of this contraption. It has a swivel head and the handle spins, seems like a good combination for slipagae and smackage. But, as stated, you could always return it if you think its junk or smash you fist on a sharp immovable object. Just clean the blood off of it before returning.
