Valve removal tool
For doing your own head work, this is the best tool I've ever seen for the Toyota engine:ValveMaster valve spring compressor 4 valve heads It is a little expensive (with the base), but pretty much paid for itself the first time I tore down a head.
Edit: I just ran across this tool recommended by Gairloch and it looks like it will do the job too and is less expensive: Lisle 36200 - Valve Keeper Remover & Installer I still have the big fokking "C-Clamp" tool from SnapOn that would make someone a fine boat anchor if anyone wants it ![]() Last edited by 2restomod; 03-25-2008 at 03:36 PM. |
