I would definatly add a lip around the hole! Something that stood up above the ground by a couple of inches. It will save you from having to tell us that you came home after partying all night and drove it into the pit!

Id be so worried of accidentally driving a corner of my car off that damn thing when backing up or driving over it.

You dont look like yo have a whole lot of margin of error on that thing.

Wow, it came out really succesful. Home-made garage pit. Like the others say, add the lip but that came out really well.

how you get in or out? lol do you jump in and out or did you build some stairs somewhere?

thanks for the input guys, im just gonna install a mirror in front so that i could see my wheels when driving it in.. we'll see if i have trouble driving it in.. i still have to fab up a ladder to be bolted on the end. might tile the place to make it cleaner..

I would still do the rails!!! Like I said images don't look the same after a night on the town!!!
