Breaker bars
Here's a couple of things I built to remove some rusty nuts in strange places.

Okay, now that is brilliant! Where have you used them?

I have access to a laser. If I need a tool for a specific job I generally draw it in AutoCad and cut it on the laser. I used a couple of them when I was putting in a set of Prothane bushings on my 2. There were a couple of nuts I could not reach and get leverage on using normal tools. The 17mm stainless breaker was used to loosen the tranny filler bolt on my MKii Supra.
I still have the dxf and dwg files for them (AutoCad files) if anyone needs them. Here's a thing that I cut recently that is more recognizable. ![]() Last edited by surfer8; 04-24-2008 at 06:21 PM. Reason: I screwed up the picture |

Those breaker bars are pretty slick. You should consider making them and selling them...

Okay, what you need to do is make about 100 of those mini MR2's and send them off as good gestures to all the MR2board members.
Or just sell them off, whichever you feel. |

That's a great idea. I don't have 100 of them, but I'll give one to the first five people that ask for one.

I bet if you started a thread called "who wants free stuff" people would flock right on over. Unless they read through this thread they would have no idea.
I still got the first one...that's all I know. ![]() |
