Scope (Camera on Flexible Cable)

What does anyone know about scopes? I see Sears has a few. They all have an eyepiece that requires the user to hold it to their eye.

I am wondering what features have been handy for others and what specific ones are bad/good. I think I want one with a screen that has little legs so it can stand up anywhere and a strap so it can be attached to the car structure so I can keep my hands free to work. I want the screen to go where I go and face me.

Please advise...

I found the SeeSnake:
SeeSnake Micro Inspection Camera: Gadget of the Week - Popular Mechanics

Milwaukee is coming out with one in June/July:
Milwaukee Digital Inspection Camera | Tool Snob - ToolSnob.com

This is in the ballpark of style and price I am interested in. Any advice?

I checked reviews on Amazon now and see the SeeSnake doing very well and the Milwaukee doing well only if it is the cheap $100 AA batter powered version.

I got the $200 Milwaukee camera (2310-21) with Lithium Ion batteries. I agree with reviews that the picture is surprisingly grainy. It is decent but I would now compare it hands-on with the SeeSnake before buying it to be sure it is decent and not sub-standard.

I am very happy to have an inspection camera...helps see around corners on my engine work.

The Snap-On unit I found is $400 so it is in another league for those with more money. I couldn't find the Mac unit.
