im about to post the pics in a couple minutes, and as mr2magic requested i am going to post up a step by step install with pictures ..

i believe mekkafire started a similar thread and had a "problems" list, but if i understand correctly he passed away (and possibly never installed the kit)

the only thing on his list was you have to clock the turbo compressor housing around which isnt hard to do ..

one complaint i found about other kits was the flanges on the header being warped, but mine is VERY slightly warped .. not even enough to consider taking it to a machine shop, bolting it up should straighten it up though ..
I know you are trying to test it...that's why I posted above what I posted. If you are testing it, truly testing it, it needs to see the same abuse on the STREET AND TRACK over the long haul that the other more expensive kits will see...otherwise the variables aren't the same and it's a biased test. If you are really trying to test it, there needs to be a set of guidelines and variables followed, as with any experiment. This might all seem like a lot, but if you are really going for the "once and for all" proof like you claim, this needs to be done.

Initial pictures don't mean much...it's the durability, fitment, problems and issues over the long haul that count.

im not a damn scientist, i go to college every day (100+) miles and get on it once in a while .. if it breaks, then its crap and everyone should away from it .. otherwise, im seeing if the kit is any good or not .. end of story ..

heres the pics, they just finished loading up on photobucket .. the one with the manifold and downpipe is crap, so ill try and get a better one later .. they look awsome in person, have no clue why the camera makes them look bad ..

lol, naw .. this is my brothers camera and it has so many stupid features on it that it wouldnt take a clear pic of my turbo shaft last night untill i found you had to set it to "micro" to get the small details without making it blury ..

i added new pics of the manifold and dowpipe that are a little better, the damn flash on the camera is weird ..

neways, they have ground all the welds on the inside of both the manifold and the dowpipe smooth .. ive seen people say on honda forums that you have to do that with there headers but they allready did it on these

now it's time for you to get baby on and test it out

if you prove all the ney sayers wrong, i'll buy a kit (even though I'm still non-turbo and plan to go turbo). If the thing blows up, I'll never post in another ssac/xspower thread again

GOODLUCK!

awsome, then we'll have three ssac turbo kit users ..

went out tonight and got new intake connectors to adapt to the 3" inlet on the t3/t4 compressor housing ..

and i went to summit to get an adapter for the 18mm thread in the block for oil to a 4an fitting and the damn guy told me they dont have stuff like that .. but after looking on there website for two minutes i found two fittings that will do the job, so ill go pick them up in the morning ..

then i gotta go to toyota and pick up my gasket and o ring for the two metal waterpump lines that are leaking ..

get my new timing stuff on .. and then the turbo kit will go on ..

tried the manifold earlier, slid on perfectly .. cant wait to bolt it all up and try it out ...

the only think i wont be using is the bov included since my current one is good and dont feel like cutting it off and messing with it for nothing ..

ill get pics up as soon as i start installing it ..

How long are you willing to wait to decide on reliability? At what sort of performance?

I think everyone on planet earth knows they are the same company.

I'd like to tour their "factory" if it wasn't on the edge of NC.

That is exactly what I want to know. How long are they willing to wait, what type of abuse will be thrown at it for how long before they pass judgment.

Hahaha Man that was too funny...true, but too funny. I'd like to see it do that and hold up fine after a whole season at the strip...

it's got to atleast survive a season of daily use and maybe some track time. in terms of power, atleast 280hp-300hp on pump @ around 16psi +/-.
