Exclamation MBC.... always spiking ?

Hi,

First, sorry for my poor English... it's not my first language.

Last summer we've(me and mr2rhd) installed the Pro-Z(from EMS) MBC in-cabin(in the sub-box behind the driver seat --> JDM). The first night went good... it was set and steady at 14psi. After that night, nothing was right.... it kept spiking at 20-22psi at full boost. Thinking that a hose was not properly fixed, we've rechecked everything..... Nothing loose. Scared of that, I decided to go back to stock.

WTF happened ?

PLEASE HELP ! (pictures of working MBC setup are VERY welcome!)

I'm having a very similar situation as you. Thats actually my car in the pic you posted. Mine spikes up to 22ish with it on and 15psi when I went back to stock. It used to run 9psi stock when I first did the swap. I don't know what my problem is. I had that boost controller set at 15 for about a year with no problems then all the sudden this. I'm really leaning away from it being the controller though. I kinda wanna see what ends up being the cause of your problem. Maybe it'll help me.

I always just use a line that fits on the actuator, and I put a bolt in the end and clamp it down. Vacuum caps get owned by the heat from the turbo.

I was going to say Id wager thats both your guys' issue.
