Oil in my intake

I was installing a new intake and notesed that there is oil in my intake before turbo. It looks like its comeing from the crank case vent. How do I fix this?

yeah that sounds like PCV blowby. only way to eliminate is to throw an oil catch can inline between the crankcase and the intake. they sell them at Jeg's, Summit, Greddy etc etc. its about a bill for a nice set up but sooo worth it!

You dont need to buy a hundred dollar catch can. they are just nicer looking. You can get the same functionality out of a 20oz bottle, 3/8 tubing and some electrical tape. then you can even see you sludge level. some of those catch cans dont even have a sight glass. (I assume a $100 one would)

Though

a little bit of oil in the intake tract is normal for a turbo car.

BY THE WAY GUYS!!

Check your oil feed lines to the turbo, make for damned sure they are sized properly (should be a teeeenie tiny hole in the feed line that sprays oil into the turbo's bearing housing. If you were to blast motor oil from the 1/8 inch stainless-steel braided oil feed line (you know those cool cheapass ones from eBay?) onto that turbo's bearing housing, it WILL blow it into the turbo's cold side, onto the blades and such and then finally onto the dyno you are tuning your engine on.......causing a huge mess & a damn near deadly situation.....

TLDR?

Check the oil feed line. Make sure it's not pushing tooooo much oil.

Thats why the 3rd gen has a factory catch can.
All FI engines should have one. Personally all engines should have on to stop any oil going to the TB.
