I think you will get mixed answers. From what I have seen....KO makes the best quality downpipe out there.

I put a full berk DP and exhaust on my mr2. With the stock cat and berk exhaust I could only boost to about 13psi at high RPMs now I can go right to 18psi. It woke the car right up. I spanked an S4 and an evo. Good fitment Stainless Steel and built in flex. I have had it for almost 9 months and have had no problems. I think KO racing is just painted steel. If you want SS it is a lot more. It did take all summer to get it the berk stuff in though.

Well, I have a stock cat from a 5sfe in my dp right now, and Aaron at ATS told me that if I put in a 3" dp w/ no cat, I could expect a good 30 hp. I'll be installing it Mid-May, and then I'll take it to a dyno. I'll probably post results on mr2oc.

Just a warning about the berk downpipe. I tried install my wideband the other day and the hole they make for the wideband wasn't big enough. It looks like that cut a hole in the pipe and then weld the threads over the hole. I had to dremel out the hole slightly with the downpipe on the car and that was a huge pain. So if you're getting a wideband, make sure it fits so you can dremel it while its off of the car.
