Just joined, MAF
Hi everyone,
Just joined and already have a question. I have a 91 3sgte. To make the long story short, I had the car since 2000 and had everything rebuild with all upgrades. My car has been sitting in a repair shop for about 2 years, I fired up the car after new battery, starter. The car fired up and stopped. I figured it was the MAF sensor. I borrowed one from another car and it fired right up and was running perfectly after a 5 year motor project. Does anyone know how to make a replacement MAF sensor? |

how to Make a MAF?
honestly you should just buy a new one. i am sure there is a way to make one, but it would be very time consuming researching the electrical specs of the potentiometer and the contact points that make up such a sensor. My advice would be to hit Aaron (te51levin) up as he can get a good price on parts, and just bite the bullet and buy one. good luck, oh and welcome to the forum by the way ![]() |
