My 3SGTE,..what gen is it? LSD? Help!!!(photos)
I got my engine in yesterday and was wondering if anyone could tell me what gen engine and tranny I have. I was paying for a gen 2 but the paper that came with it has 94+ scribbled on it. And it looks like a gen 3 to my untrained eyes. Anyone got some wisdom to empart?
![]() ![]() ![]() this is the ECU label ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() And I got an HKS BOV ![]() ![]() the P/N on the ECU is from a 3rd gen I think? Last edited by quiksilverly; 05-09-2009 at 11:17 AM.. |

Looks like you got lucky
Gen 3, which means it has the LSD transmission as well. |

AH F you!!! Lol I'm jealous. I paid $2250 and mine didn't look near that nice when I got it. Cut harness, wrong ECU, and no air box. Congrats on the good luck man can't wait to see it in there. Even if it ends up not being LSD thats a hell of a deal.

Either way, I'm still wiping my drool from the first glimpse of it. I was expecting the worsed...like a hacked harness or twisted metal. Out standind shape. |

I got mine from OsakaJDMmotors.com and holy crap thats the worse customer service I've ever had to deal with ever. Motor runs awesome though. Trans did crap out in about 6 months though. I'm still really jealous over you only spending $2000 on that. Mine was missing a few things that one has and was still a pretty decent deal for $2250 shipped.
