i have a 93 us na harness in a 92 and beside the 22 pin plug i had to connect a blue black wire behind the seat to get the fuel pump to turn on,the two plugs are different, there are also two red/black wires on the plug i am referring to and only one to match it up with

it is probably the same color blue/black for the fuel pump, the fpr(is a ground) wire on the ecu controls the speed of the fuel pump but fc(also a ground) controls the power to the fuel pump...that's all i needed to know to get my car to run although since i had an n/a harness all i had to do was ground the fuel pump circuit to fc and the pump runs wide open all the time.there is a 93 bgb online http://manual.teq.org/.as far as i know 3rd gen and 93 are close but not exactly the same.

it would be easier for you to get a 91 n/a chassis harness and then you could just wire in the 22 pin plug and ground the f to fc and be done with it...this is the way the 2nd gen alltrac celicas functioned...there are guys like drtweak and mr2driver that can help you more than i on this board...but if you want my honest opinion i would seriously consider selling the 3rd gen chassis harness and going back to the n/a harness...there are only 3 real differences(fuel pump relay which kicks in the resistor for idling, the resistor itself and intercooler fan circuit)...the only other issue is the electric speedo but that's 93+ and 3rd gen specific anyway

because there are other plugs, like the one behind the seat that don't fit either and one in the trunk...like i said, contact drtweak or mr2driver about addressing those issues

so... is this for a 3sge or turbo? I already started riping stuff apart and I saw that the kick panel has a male plug and the 3sge body harness has a male plug. also some connectors by the speakers dont connect but thats just the speaker wires. correct?

HEY STWEART! I just purchased one from RPMGARAGE and it came it. A full body harness. The problem I ran into was the speaker wires. there aren't any speaker wires plugs to connect to my 5s one. I guess since its jdm. oh well... as long as it runs then My other problem I ran into was the plugs for the tail lights. since mines are 91's they dont connect! their all female plugs. let me know what you did about these ok? THANKS FOR READY AND REPLYING! oh yeah, also a plug in the kick panel doesn't connect to the 5s connector. you have a sn where we could chat instead?
