Need help from Gen 3 pros

My (sw20 GEN 3) car has been sitting in my driveway for about 2-3 months now. i have been lazy to warm it up from time to time. So... now the engine doesn't start. I jumped start the battery with a battery booster. the engine sounds like its about to turn over but doesn't. I don't hear the fuel pump so i may assume its the fuel pump toke a dive on me... Does fuel pump dies while just been sitting??? and i checked the fuel pump vac line no fuel pumping out from a helping hand where I check the fuel line and someone else starts the engine.

then i also have another problem. I've also taken out the spark plug wire to see whether there's any sparks but tapping it to any metal. no sparks there also..

double checked fuses also. no fuse blown..

The battery is fine because I have taken the battery out and put it in another car and it starts fine. So, i know its not the battery.

Can it be the distrubator? and if so.. Where can i get a Gen 3 Distrubator?

I have looking thru online for gen 3 distrubator part number reference..
but doesn't specify that the part number is for the toyota dealership or from any local auto parts store..
Dist. cap 19101-88364 <--- toyota dealership ????

I would like to revive the beast.. I hope you all mr2 pros can help me out.

p.S. Is there a way I can test if its really the fuel pump by jump starting the fuel pump?? my friend told me you can lightly tap the gas tank and this may result jump starting the fuel pump. I haven't made any effort on reviving the beast since the last time i have tried starting it because i am now hoping i can get the best advice until further efforts.

Thank you

If you want to test it to see if the fuel pump is working unhook the feed line to the fuel rain and try to turn it over. When I did my swap I cancelled out the fuel pump relay so if mine just sitting in the on position where you would normally hear the fuel pump you don't hear mine cause its not on until you start it. Only down side to that is if you let it sit for a while you have to turn it over a bit to reprim the fuel lines but it'll still start right up. Did you try taking the distributer cab off and make sure its getting a good contact?
