How do I remove ECU pins from ECU?
Ok.. I need to relocate three pins on my ECU to regain power steering, and ABS.
Problem is that I can't for the life of me get the first pin I've tried out of the ECU connector. I've tried putting a precision miniature screw driver into the hole, pulled the wire while pulling up or down on the screw driver. Trying to get the 7th and 8th pin form left to right on top out. They are the same style pins, and holes.. but I"m not sure how the heck they come out. I've tried here, and searched a lot of places, but no one is around now, and I can't find anything that tells me how to do this besides the GEN2 BGB, and that must not be correct for this type of GEN3 connector. ![]() Here is the first wire I need to get out. ![]() Thanks! |

first you need to release the lock at the back of the plug, top and bottom. then you need a small flat head to release the lock thats visible in the front of the plug
