Well... Let the swap begin!!

Today is a sad/happy day for me. I have officially parked my Mr2 to begin my swap and to get it ready for paint.
I am gonna miss driving her while it is in pieces but im going to enjoy it being turbo.

I have a pretty good amount of parts gathered up for the 3s they include
Spearco side mount intercooler
berk 3" downpipe
Ems 3" catback exhaust
Hks 264 intake and exhaust cams
Hks intake
Hks ssq Blow-off valve
Twosrus boost up package (MBC and fuel cut def)
and a few other things.

My initial plan is to run the ct26 and upgrade in the near future. I know this is going to be a long process but i hope it goes smoothly. Wish me luck!

haha thanks. Yea i got to do a lot of cleaning and painting. The person who had the donor car before me didn't clean the engine up often plus it has a few oil leaks. But all of that is gonna get fixed.

That donor car is a wonder though cause it was creamed in the rear but i still was able to drive it home. The turbo boosted well and pulls real strong and that was a big plus to me. And as far as i can tell he kept it properly maintained.

Well i started pulling the interior from my blue car today I got everything out but the headliner, the pillar trim, and the dash. Next thing up for the weekend is to finish that up and run the body harness. I might even be able to get the 5s out.

I think i need some t-top seals though there was a little bit of water on the driver side. But it has been raining a whole lot in Georgia here lately.

Update!!

Well i haven't been able to work on the mr2 much lately with school and working on my brothers mr2. But the motor should be in this weekend!!

I got all the stuff for the motor the first of the week like the timing belt, water pump and all the seals. I also went and picked up the clutch and got the flywheel turned

Well i started cleaning up somethings the other day and painted the tranny. I think it turned out pretty well.

Tonight i should have the black interior in so stay tuned for updates!

well a little update since i forgot to take some pictures.
I got the black interior swaped in the car though.

I could have had it running this weekend but toyota didn't sent me my valve cover gasket, the hose from hell, another coolant hose and the water neck seal. but whatever it should be here tomorrow sometime.

It did give me a little more time to button up somethings like tucking the wiring harness and hiding the trunk release cable.

I will try to get some pictures up tomorrow.
