back-up light switch

Any tips on how to get to the back-up light switch on a 93T? I've moved a few things out of the way, but still can't get a wrench or socket on the thing to test it. Back-up lights went out last week and it's not the ECI-IG fuse or ignition relay. Since they both went out together, I'm assuming it's not the bulbs (didn't see an easy way to get to these either). Thanks.

check the bulbs out first... have to remove the tailights to get to the bulbs. doubt the switch went bad but if it did it's a pain to get out but doable

Never mind. Found a past post that suggested using a putty knife wrapped in cloth to remove the small triange ends to access the screws that hold it on.

Problem solved. I checked voltage at the switch, 11.94V. I then removed the switch (thanks again mister3!) and it tested ok (?) per the BGB. Since I already had a new switch, I went ahead and put the new one in and back up lights now work. Took a little less than an hour for everything and $58 for the part, 27mm socket, and extension.
